Provide professional risk management support, services, and training
utilizing a variety of resources, including staff and outside consultants.
2011 OBJECTIVE STATEMENTS
Provide risk management
training to the MVRMA Executive Director and staff by sponsoring their
attendance at appropriate PRIMA/AGRIP events and other relevant
conferences and seminars.
Provide a MVRMA orientation
for new pool Trustees that includes a "spend the day" program with staff,
and assign a mentor Trustee.
Provide articles from pool professional
journals to all Board Members.
As requested, provide members with information
and best practices regarding new programs or operational changes they are
considering.
Provide recommendations on contracts and bid
specifications regarding insurance and indemnity provisions on request.
Continue to support members' involvement with
Lexipol by allowing members to use their general reserve funds to cover
all or a portion of the cost.
Continue to evaluate the effectiveness of
the on-line training provided by Target Safety by surveying the members who
use it.
