MVRMA Video and CD-Rom Library
The MVRMA Video Library currently owns and makes available more than 200 videos to its member cities. The purpose of the library is to provide assistance in conducting in-house safety-related training. The videos cover a broad range of public sector safety issues and are applicable to most city departments and divisions. Up to three videos may be checked out for any two week period by forwarding a "Video Request Form" to the MVRMA office.
Please allow 3-5 days for delivery of training materials by mail. A "Video Comment Sheet" is included with all training materials in order to get the borrower's opinion of its value. MVRMA assumes the cost of delivering the videos. The member municipalities assume the expense for returning the materials to the MVRMA office.
In addition, members may borrow any of the compliance or instructional manuals MVRMA has purchased.
Funds are budgeted annually for the purchase of additional tapes and other instructional materials. The Risk Management Committee, together with the MVRMA staff, select new materials from various sources. Recommendations from member cities of topics they would like included are encouraged.
